Recent development of the internal institutional base, robust global and regional economic integration enabled the CBA to provide broad technical assistance to other countries. Taking into account requests from different countries, promotion and expansion of CBA’s technical assistance capacity as a donor bank became one of the top strategic targets. To that end, the CBA has delivered request-based technical assistance on diverse directions of central banking to a number of countries up to now.
The CBA’s technical assistance includes: exchange of experience on development of payment systems for representatives of the Bank of Central African States, the Central Bank of Oman, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Central Bank of Algeria, and the National Bank of Kazakhstan; on balance of payments statistics for the National Bank of Georgia; on how to benefit from application of international standards in a central bank, organization of internal control, risk management and business continuity for the National Bank of Ukraine; financial programming for the State Bank of Vietnam; statistic data collection and processing for the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic; on operating principle and update of the TEMENOS software for the National Bank of Kazakhstan; on the State Register of Encumbrance of Movable Property for the National Bank of Georgia , the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic; opportunities for staff education at the Central Bank, creation of the milli card scheme, measuring employee satisfaction level for the Central Bank of Türkiye; on application of information technologies, user experience in information technologies projects for the National Bank of Belarus, the Central Bank of Türkiye; organization of cash circulation, cash management, estimation and planning, issue and logistics of cash demand, co-operation between the Central Bank and banknote printing companies for the National Bank of Ukraine, the National Bank of Kazakhstan, the Central Bank of Türkiye; and on organization of procurements for the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
