15 May 2026, Baku: The Central Bank was represented at the next meeting organised by the DOST Agency as part of the state's monitoring of the rights of persons with disabilities.
During the meeting, participants exchanged views on the work carried out to protect the rights of persons with disabilities and ensure their access to financial services. They were also informed about the monitoring objectives planned for implementation in 2026, upcoming tasks and other topics.
At the meeting, Murad Mammadov, Director of the Consumer Affairs Department of the Central Bank, provided information on initiatives that the Central Bank has implemented jointly with financial institutions within the framework of discussions on a number of current issues.
As the regulatory body of the country's financial sector, the Central Bank is focused on implementing appropriate measures to prevent discrimination in the provision of financial services to persons with disabilities. In order to improve the services provided in this direction and prevent discrimination, the Central Bank regularly holds meetings and outreach initiatives with sector representatives.
